Beijing's rail transit service now accepts digital yuan for subway rides through an integration with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. According to Twitter user @gotoalberto, a Moscow Subway franchise owner is apparently accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment for purchases. Not only that, but the store is offering a 10 percent discount if customer pay in Bitcoins. We wonder what Subway corporate has to say about this, but this is Russia. Anything goes.
