Why Polygon Will Launch First EVM Equivalent Scaling Solution

According to a press release shared with Bitcoinist, Polygon (MATIC) will launch the first Ethereum equivalent layer two scaling solution, called Polygon zkEVM. Based on Zero Knowledge (ZK) Proof or zk roll-up technology, as the name suggests, this solution will provide developers with the tools to “seemingly” plug into the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector. Ethereum Layer-2 Scaling Solution Arbitrum to Launch This Month

Arbitrum, an Ethereum Layer-2 (L2) scaling solution, announced it would launch its mainnet for users this August. The tool, which allows Ethereum users to transact with very low fees, had launched in beta version last June, with support from some key projects in the Ethereum sphere, like Uniswap, who received a community vote to integrate it. The project will also launch Arbitrum One, which will have up-to-date information about the projects using its network.
