Crypto exchange Bitfinex is now offering a way for holders of three different cryptocurrencies to earn up to 6.2% annual interest.According to a Sept. 30 announcement, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) holders are now eligible to earn up to 6.2% annual percentage yield (APY) through a partnership with Celsius Network, while XRP holders can earn up to 4.91% APY. Bitfinex has become the first major bitcoin exchange to offer on-blockchain transactions. Typically, exchanges work off-chain, meaning that user balances are settled within a central database.
