The Khan Academy now supports donations in bitcoins. The news was announced last week on Coinbase's blog, as the non-profit educational website is using the US company's merchant tools to accept bitcoin payments. The Khan Academy offers a large range of educational resources. There are videos and exercises for students. A bitcoin documentary film dubbed The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin is slated to make its debut this April at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York on the 23rd of April. Directed by Nicholas Mross, the film chronicles the digital currency that's taken the world by storm, from it's origins to incredible explosive growth first in April of last year, and later in November. The official trailer for the highly-anticipated bitcoin documentary entitled The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin has made its debut today, not terribly long after the community has had a sneak peak of the film. If you haven't heard about the documentary, it features a number of early adopters, of which include Gavin Andresen and Daniel Mross (the older brother of the maker of the film, Nicholas Mross). Notable entities in the community make an appearance, including former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpeles, Charlie Shrem, Erik Voorhees. The Winklevoss twins - Cameron and Tyler - also take part.....
