It's unclear just what the issue is, but users trying to access the website are getting "This webpage is not available" and "bad gateway" messages. A number of users have taken to twitter to express their frustration, and Coinbase is yet to post anything regarding this downtime. Some rumored that they were attacked with DDoS like last year, but their twitter account sent out the following update today: Some disks seem to have failed. Expect extended downtime.
