Digital asset investment products recorded $5 million worth of cumulative weekly outflows in what CoinShares describes as an “apathetic period.” On Oct 24, European cryptocurrency investment firm CoinShares published its “Digital Asset Fund Flows Report,” which revealed that digital asset investment products saw $5 million worth of cumulative outflows last week in a continuation of what it calls an “apathetic period” that began in September 2022. Most notably, investment product volumes dropped to $758 million during the week, the lowest since October 2020 and far below the weekly average....

Managers bought $21 million worth of digital asset investment products last week, according to Coinshares. On a market-cap adjusted basis, Ethereum remains the most popular investment. Capital flows into cryptocurrency investment products rose again last week, though the pace of growth has slowed since the start of the year, possibly marking a local top in institutional demand. Net inflows totaled $21 million for the week ending March 27, 2021, according to Coinshares, a European digital-asset manager. Assets under management for institutional funds have hit a record high of $59 billion. According to digital asset investment manager CoinShares, the first quarter of 2021 has hit a new record for institutional crypto product inflows.As reported in the April 6 CoinShares Fund Flows Weekly bulletin, Q1 of this year hit a new record with $4.5 billion in inflows compared with $3.9 billion in the final quarter of 2020.It added that inflows for the past week recorded, ending on April 2, totaled $106 million helping push the total for the three-month period 11% higher than the previous quarter.....
