Coinbase Announces Toshi: The Open Source Bitcoin Node For Developers

BitPay isn't the only company having some fun with open source projects. San Francisco-based Coinbase announced Wednesday the launch of a new project called Toshi (most likely after Satoshi Nakamoto, bitcoin's creator). Toshi is an open source bitcoin node designed for developers. In short, the software makes it simpler for developers to build their web applications, and it's 100 percent compatible with Bitcoin Core.
