We had yet another exciting week in the Bitcoin markets, with the price pushing ever-closer to the $400 mark. This week, the price moved into the $390s, and closed the week out in the mid $380s, making for an overall gain of 3.07%. The week started on November 30, 2015 with the Bitcoin price sitting at $375.18, maintaining the gains achieved late last week. This price range held for most of the day, hovering in the mid $370s, aside from two fluctuations. At 3 AM, the price spiked to $383, and dipped to $367.11 at 9 AM. Four "significant users" of Silk Road arrested in UK

Four men in the UK have been arrested over their alleged roles in the online marketplace Silk Road. One of the suspects is in his 50s and from Devon while the others are in their early 20s and are from Manchester. They were detained by officers of the new National Crime Agency (NCA) shortly after the FBI arrested Ross Ulbricht - the suspected creator of Silk Road. Several Involved With Silk Road 2.0 Reportedly Arrested

Very shortly following the closing of the Silk Road bitcoin drug marketplace, another sprouted up - aptly named Silk Road 2.0. The second iteration was, for the most part, a copy of the first, but with added security measures. Now, reports are circulating that several involved with Silk Road 2.0 have been apprehended by law enforcement and are in custody. Silk Road Continues to Prove its Resilience

Silk Road 2.0 has reimbursed over half its users since the February heist and has no plans to stop. It seems like Silk Road is far more resilient than most people thought. Silk Road Mentor Caught In Thailand

A U.S. Justice Department press release reports that the infamous architect from the original Silk Road was arrested in Thailand December 3, 2015. Roger Thomas Clark otherwise known as “Variety Jones” and other aliases was taken into custody with unsealed charges coming from New York State. The press release claims Clark was caught by authorities in Thailand where he was allegedly hiding out.
