HK BITCOIN ATM is Opening to the Public in Kowloon Hong Kong

HK BITCOIN ATM is launching a Bitcoin ATM in Mongkok’s Chic Castle Shopping Mall, which is described by the Guinness World Records as the busiest district in the world, to satisfy the local growing demand for exchanging fiat currency into Bitcoin. The soft launch will be in early April, followed by an official opening ceremony at Asia’s first Bitcoin Museum where the ATM will be placed.

“This is not just another Bitcoin ATM store. This place will give the general public a complete Bitcoin experience. The Bitcoin museum will display Bitcoin mining rig, physical Bitcoin and hyper inflated fiat currency. It would become another tourist attraction.” says Mr. Lam CEO and Founder of HK BITCOIN ATM.

The Bitcoin ATM store is unmanned. The door opens automatically by computer everyday between 11am-11pm. There will be seats and a table for people to meet other Bitcoin fans.
All is ready to go and HK BITCOIN ATM will soft launch its service in early April, followed by an official opening party on 12 April noon.

Bitcoin enthusiasts and media interested in being on the guest list for the VIP opening party (limited tickets) can register now at http://hkbitcoinatm.com/ to secure their free tickets.

During the VIP opening party there will be humanoid robots performing in honor of the launch; they also will be on display in the museum. Gold, silver, and copper physical collector bitcoins will be handed out to the first 100 people exchanging Hong Kong Dollars into bitcoins via the ATM.

As of now the price of Bitcoin is $468, down from all time high above $1200 last year. However Mr. Lam is optimistic,

“We can expect the price continue to absorb the bad news following Mt.Gox’s shutdown. However Bitcoin is unknown to a lot of people. There is a lot of room for growth.”
