Spondoolies-Tech: Professional ASIC Manufacturing and Hosting

Spondoolies-Tech was founded in 2013 by a group of Israeli engineers and is perhaps one of the most professional and reputable ASIC manufacturers out there. The company has received well over $5 million in funding from two prominent Israeli venture capital firms – BRM Group and Genesis Partners, and currently has engineers from Intel, Google, and Motorola on its team. Just take a look at their impressive introduction video, which offers an insightful look into their production process.

Engineering

Spondoolies’ excellent engineering warrants a section of its own. The SP10 miner is currently the market leader in terms of profitability. It hashes away at a whopping 1.5 TH/s while only consuming 1.25 kW of power. Here’s a quick introduction of the SP10:

Furthermore, if these specs weren’t impressive enough, Spondoolies-Tech is releasing their second generation miner – the SP30, in mid July 2014. This mean machine hashes at an incredible 6.1 TH/s with 193 engines while only consuming 0.35 Watts of power per GHs at ASIC level. With these specs, anyone can break even and start making huge profits within months. Spondoolies is the first ASIC company to break the 0.5 W/GHs barrier and the $1.00/GHs barrier. Furthermore, for customers who don’t want to deal with the hassle of running and maintaining mining hardware, the company also sells hosting.

Hosting

If a customer has purchased an SP10, but the unit has not yet been shipped, Spondoolies offers affordable hosting and accepts payment in bitcoins, U.S. dollars, and Euros. Hosting is also available for customers who purchase the SP30. With this service, customers can reap enormous profits from their hardware without having to bother with the technical details of maintaining it all.

Simple Setup

Getting started with Spondoolies hardware is actually quite simple. The company’s custom mining software is incredibly intuitive. It features instant mining with the cloud “Plug&Mine” system and offers one-click firmware upgrades to keep pushing the machine’s boundaries with continuous software optimisations. Furthermore, the software is entirely open-source, meaning that anyone can review and/or modify the code. And in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, Spondoolies’ easy recovery boot and settings backup can restore the hardware to working order.

Spondoolies-Tech uses a simple and intuitive UI for its custom mining software.

Testimonials

Spondoolies has already gained a lot of attention from bitcoiners. Unlike some disreputable mining hardware manufacturers, Spondoolies doesn’t mine with its customers’ purchases. Instead, the company relies on honest business practices to achieve its goal of becoming the world’s largest manufacturer and supplier of mining equipment. And this business model is certainly working. Just read what some customers have to say about Spondoolies:

“Among all the miners, this got the best design i’ve seen so far.”

-customer in USA

“Spondoolies is definitely a breath of fresh air in the mining game let us hope it continues.”

-another U.S. customer

More testimonials are available on Facebook and Bitcointalk.

Looking Towards the Future

Cryptocurrency mining is a highly competitive business, and Spondoolies-Tech has every intention of coming out on top. After shipping out the SP30’s, the team plans on building scrypt ASICs to enter an entirely new hashing racing. At this rate, it looks like Spondoolies will easily achieve market dominance.

Spondoolies-Tech Promises More Power-Efficient Mining

An Israeli company launched a bitcoin mining system this week that promises to eventually double existing power efficiencies. Spondoolies-Tech is touting mining rigs that will offer up to 2.1 TH/sec per kilowatt of energy today by the summer. The company has designed an ASIC chip that it says can achieve a similar performance to the design currently used by ASIC mining manufacturers such as Cointerra. The difference, says Spondoolies-Tech cofounder Guy Corem, is the process node. Cointerra uses a 28nm (nanometer) ASIC chip design, whereas Spondoolies-Tech uses a 40nm design. The process....
