As it were, it looks like someone has indeed won the prize, and they're coming out with a statement, posted on Reddit. Here it is: This is so immeasurably awesome! Thank you so much! Super-popular bitcoin block explorer and online wallet service Blockchain.info today announced the creation of their one millionth wallet - an absolutely huge milestone in the website's history. Popular online wallet provider Blockchain.info today sent a tweet that notes that the service has had 70,000 new wallet registrations in the period of one week. If basic math isn't your forte, that's 10,000 new sign-ups per day, which is certainly a significant number. Blockchain.info is known for their ease-of-use online wallets, and as such, has become quite reputable in the Bitcoin community. Not only that, Blockchain.info also serves as the de facto place to view Bitcoin transactions taking place around the world, which of course are public as per the Bitcoin protocol. No doubt, the....
The mononymous reporter Howard at The Daily Doge is reporting that Dogechain’s new, secure online wallet could go live in a week or two. For readers more familiar with Bitcoin, Dogechain is the analogue to Bitcoin’s Blockchain.info. It features a similar blockchain explorer, and now it’s developing an online wallet that matches Blockchain.info’s security features. The new Dogecoin online wallet will not have access to its users’ private keys, and thus it will be able to afford the convenience of an online wallet but with a much stronger degree of security. Users will simply generate....
