New York-based social e-commerce website Fancy has removed bitcoin payments from its iOS app at the request of Apple. The announcement was made in conjunction with its release of Version 3.3.0 of its iOS app on 5th March, and was visible under the "What's new" portion of the App Store where app updates are displayed. New York-based social e-commerce platform Fancy, a website known as the "Pinterest for shopping," is now accepting bitcoin. The news was revealed in a 23rd January email from Fancy to its customers, which provided a basic introduction to bitcoin as well as simple directions on how bitcoin users can make bitcoin purchases. Back in late January, social sharing e-commercial platform Fancy.com included the option to pay for products in bitcoin.
