Sweden-based digital currency mining hardware developer KnCMiner has announced that customers waiting for their Neptune mining product to ship can opt to receive a modified Jupiter rig instead. The Neptune sports 3 TH/s of hashing speed and carries a price tag of $9,995. The 20-nm miner is based on the Jupiter design, but consumes 30% less electricity at an estimated rate of 0.7 watts per GH/s.
