Yesterday, President Obama announced that $263 million would be set aside by executive order for police equipment and training. The training would be in the use of military-grade hardware many departments have received in recent years from the Department of Homeland Security, and the equipment is specifically 50,000 body cameras. Additional funds are to be set aside for outreach programs in communities where police have a particularly bad name, like Ferguson, Missouri, where a grand jury recently said no to indicting officer Darren Wilson in the unprovoked killing of an unarmed....

Computer Giant Dell Now Accepts Bitcoin

Multinational computer technology specialist Dell has announced it is now accepting bitcoin through a partnership with Coinbase. With annual revenue approaching $57bn, Dell is roughly four times the size of DISH Network - the previous biggest bitcoin-accepting business. Following today's announcement, consumers and small business owners are able to purchase all items on Dell.com using bitcoin.
