MasterCard may be trying to stomp out Bitcoin in places like Australia, but what they're not realizing is the fact that people want to use their Bitcoin to pay for everyday expenses, bills and utilities. Even still, rather than find a way to integrate Bitcoin technology into their business model, they're trying to find a way to get rid of it through regulation. One of the top exchanges in the cryptocurrency space, BTC-e, has announced today that they're allowing traders to withdraw funds to VISA or MasterCard-issued credit/debit cards. BTC-e Enables Fund Withdrawals Using MasterCard and Visa Cards

Notoriously tight-lipped bitcoin exchange and CoinDesk Bitcoin Price Index member BTC-e is now allowing customers to withdraw funds to Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards, with some exceptions. But while Visa is going it alone in releasing a B2B blockchain, MasterCard it seems is quietly developing a set of new blockchain APIs with more collaborative goals. Users of the popular bitcoin tipping service ChangeTip can now top up their accounts via purchases with Visa and MasterCard credit cards. With the addition of the new payment option, ChangeTip users can add to their tipping wallet via credit card, bitcoin or a direct ACH transaction.
