CoinOutlet Appoints Bitcoin Expert as New General Counsel
CoinOutlet, the rapidly growing Bitcoin ATM manufacturer and operator welcomes Bitcoin legal expert Jason Seibert as General Counsel.
Mr. Seibert is best known in the Bitcoin industry for his involvement in the landmark case of SEC v. Shavers, where the SEC admitted that they do not regulate Bitcoin, thereby reducing and limiting the scope of federal regulatory oversight.
An experienced litigator, he was lead and co-counsel on securities fraud and regulatory issues cases, as well as intellectual property cases. Mr. Seibert has advised senators, state representatives, corporations and private clients on securities issues. In addition, his guidance and advice for attorneys and boards of directors on digital cryptocurrencies, securities issues, governance requirements, fiduciary duties and risk mitigation has been sought after.

Seibert holds a Juris Doctor and Advanced Degree in Dispute Resolution from Willamette University College of Law and a BA from Marylhurst University. Mr. Seibert also served in the United States Air Force. He will work closely with CEO Eric Grill, and VP of Operations Adella Toulon-Foerster.
