21 Inc Joins Bitcoin Job Fair Alongside BitPay, BitGo, ChangeTip, ShapeShift & More

In partnership with Coinality and Plug and Play Tech Center, the fourth installment of the Bitcoin Job Fair will return to Silicon Valley on Saturday, April 18th. Lead sponsor 21 Inc., recipients of over $120M in funding, along with prominent bitcoin companies including BitPay, BitGo, ChangeTip and more, will be in Sunnyvale looking for top talent to fill their open positions.

The Bitcoin Job Fair will end with a special panel featuring Wall Street Journal reporters Michael J. Casey & Paul Vigna, authors of “The Age of Cryptocurrency,” moderated by CoinDesk’s Pete Rizzo.

“As we continue to see large investments into the space, the bitcoin job fair creates a perfect forum for a wide range of open positions with these quickly scaling startups,” said Scott Robinson, Founder & Director of Plug and Play’s FinTech program.

“It’s important to emphasize the needs for developers, but other non-technical positions are certainly becoming more available as bitcoin startups mature,” said Daniel Roseman, Founder & CEO of Coinality.

Leading up to the job fair is a BitHack, arranged by the College Cryptocurrency Network (CCN), where developers will have 72 hours to create a project on the three offered APIs by way of BitGo, ChangeTip & ShapeShift.

“After running a similar hack-a-thon earlier this year, we felt it was pertinent to include those that can’t physically attend in Sunnyvale,” said Max Wilson of CCN.

Other hiring companies on-site on 4/18 will include 37coins, Airbitz, Bitwage, Blockcypher, Ciphrex, Coinbeyond, Mirror, Pavilion, Purse.io and more.

Last year’s event included 34 hiring startups and hundreds of job seekers; the event will again be free for those in search of the offered positions.
