ShapeShift.io's Lens Tool Now Available on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome

ShapeShift Lens allows anyone that downloads the free Firefox or Google Chrome browser extension, to pay any Bitcoin address with over a dozen different altcoins.

The ShapeShift Lens tool, which allows Bitcoin payments to be sent to online merchants using a range of altcoins, is now available as a Mozilla Firefox browser add-on. The Lens tool, which was released in December 2014, is also available as a Google Chrome browser plug-in.

ShapeShift Lens tool allows anyone that downloads the free Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browser extension to pay any Bitcoin address with over a dozen different altcoins. Once the payment has been submitted, Lens instantly converts the user's altcoin to make the payment to the online merchant/vendor. The result allows any Bitcoin invoice, including those from merchants such as Amazon or Overstock, to be paid, for example, with Dogecoin, Litecoin, BitUSD and over a dozen other altcoins.

How to use ShapeShift Lens: Once the user installs the Lens extension, via Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, a tiny ShapeShift fox icon appears next to the Bitcoin addresses on the web pages the user visits. The user clicks on the icon to use Lens to pay the Bitcoin address. No account required.

ShapeShift Lens tool allows for easier altcoin payment and now is available to FireFox users. For more information on how the Lens tool works, watch this short intro video (shapeshift.io/lens.html) and read more on our site.
