CIEO Releases OS X Compatible CIEOwallet
Apple’s decision to exile the Bitcoin community has left many users in an unfortunate predicament that has resulted in many Apple loyalists embracing the Android platform, seen with the most recent Bitcoin App removal as communicated by Business Insider on February 5th, 2014*. CIEO management has responded to Apple’s decision by releasing an OS X compatible Bitcoin wallet to eliminate the financial impact to those with only Apple products.
CIEO is pushing forward to improve current Bitcoin wallet and storage technology. Co-founder Noah Case states, “Apple has been a leader in the technology sector, but sadly I’m disappointed by their choice not to support Bitcoin related apps. Unfortunately, the enormous positive impact they could carry in the Bitcoin space is not going to happen.”
Robert Onesian, co-founder states, “the technological contributions inherent in an open source environment have prompted CIEO and other startups to develop payment solutions to advance merchant acceptance of Bitcoin. Apple’s choice to once again reject Bitcoin apps is clearly not helping our efforts to stimulate worldwide economic growth.”
