Helix Miners Partners with Flower Technology

Helix Miners Partners with Flower Technology

With the popularity rise surrounding scrypt-based algorithms in the digital currency world, there’s plenty of room for technological development. The biggest recent advancement dealt with ASIC miners being utilized with ease, and the next looks to be a partnership of Helix Miners and Flower Technology.

Early in the discussion to reach a partnership, Helix Miner’s CEO Oto Gomes and Flower Technology CEO Brock Huxtable were able to visit Flower’s chipmaker, EnSillica, in Wokingham, UK. They were able to take a video of a new FPGA prototype EnSillica has been busy working on, along with introducing the team behind it.

“The company’s CEO Brock Huxtable was extremely professional. We spoke with him in person and over several Skype meetings, and we became confident that this was the right company to work with,” Helix CEO Gomes told CCN,

“The differential was their business plan. It was one that we felt had more long-term projection than any other company we spoke to.”

On June 17, Helix Miners announced that they would officially partner with Flower Technology to become a distributor of their scrypt ASIC miners to the Americas. Not only that, but Helix is now the exclusive distributor for the Flower products.

“We had always been skeptical about the companies developing Scrypt Miners. We made our visits to several companies and couldn’t feel comfortable enough with any of them until we met the Flower Tech team!” Gomes said,

“We’re very excited about our new relationship with Flower Technology. We hope to work with the Flower Tech team to expedite shipping and ensure that customers receive their orders in a timely manner.”

Flower Technology is equally as optimistic about the new partnership as well.

“We’re pretty excited about our new relationship with Helix, and we’re confident that we can keep our promise of developing and shipping the world’s best ASIC script miners,” they said,

“This way, we can focus on making our revolutionary miners while Helix handles distributing the products and providing customer service.”

Flower Technology produces strong, as well as cleverly named, ASIC miners such as The Lilac, The Daisy, and The Orchid. Currently, Helix Miners is offering pre-orders on each Flower Technology miner as they will be ready to ship in Q3 of 2014.

Helix Mining’s Role

While Helix mining will be selling the Flower Technology products to scrypt miners, they want to be transparent as to what consumers are to expect.

“We want it to be clear to the consumers that we will be acting as a sort of escrow between Flower Tech and the consumers, so that people will feel confident in their investments,” Gomes said.

Money paid into Helix Miners account will be released in the following way for Batch Two orders:

  • 22% by the end of June 2014
  • 68% by beginning of Quarter Three
  • 10% by middle-end of Quarter Three

The investment will run through the company and be paid out based on the percentages. Consumers can feel secure and understand exactly what will happen with their money.

If a refund is requested after the dates, the difference will be refunded in the form of the initial payment, and the difference will stay as store credit for other products that will be available. As payments are made, all terms and conditions of your investment for the pre-orders will then be based on Flower Technology’s Terms and Conditions Page, and any refunds will be based on that as well.

“Unlike many other mining companies, Flower Tech and EnSillica are very transparent about their process,” Gomes said,

“We felt confident on their ability to make the best and most efficient chip design, not just some flaky ‘out-of-the-box’ workup that most of the other companies were presenting.”

Helix Miners: A Comprehensive Review

Helix Miners, along with Flower Technology, may have scammed their customers. A few months ago, Helix partnered with Flower Tech to be the sole distributor of Flower Tech's miners.
