Coinimal.com adds Skrill as new Global Payment Provider

Austrian cryptocurrency broker Coinimal is the first and so far only bitcoin merchant to integrate with Skrill – one of the largest digital wallet providers in the world.

Coinimal has added another major payment provider to their list of options. Customers can now buy bitcoin and cryptocurrency via Skrill, and receive payments in the same way when they sell cryptocurrency.

Skrill: global e-wallet provider

Skrill maintains an emphasis on low-cost and international money transfers, making it the perfect option as a fiat gateway for a cryptocurrency business. Since launching in 2002 and rebranding in 2011, it has become one of the largest and most popular e-wallet providers in the world.

Earlier this year Skrill was bought by rival Neteller – another payment option offered by Coinimal – for €1.1 billion becoming a part of the Paysafe Group. The addition of Skrill to the Coinimal platform expands the already extensive list of options for funding and withdrawals, and opens the door to a raft of new markets. Skrill allows customers to send and receive money in 41 different currencies and supports a number of major credit cards.

‘We are very pleased to be able to announce that we are partnering with Skrill,’ stated Coinimal Co-CEO, Eric Demuth.

‘European customers can buy bitcoins instantly using Skrill, and they can receive payouts via Skrill when selling bitcoin from anywhere in the world.’

Exemplary compliance
Coinimal is the first and currently the only crypto merchant to have integrated with Skrill, reflecting and reaffirming its status as one of the foremost bitcoin brokers in Europe. The partnership was negotiated on the basis of Coinimal’s strong track record of compliance and exemplary performance in terms of KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations.

Co-CEO Eric Demuth added:

‘Skrill doesn’t simply bring a new payment option to the table, although the convenience and reach it offers is very attractive for our customers. As a global business with a strong reputation, the Paysafe Group only works with the most reliable and safest partners. Consequently, their willingness to integrate with Coinimal is a vote of confidence in our business and our compliance.’

As a result of adding Skrill, Coinimal’s fully-automated platform now offers a total of eight different payment options, including SEPA transfers, SOFORT, Neteller and PayPal. Users can purchase bitcoin, NXT and Ethereum instantly, with new customers able to sign and and be verified within just ten minutes.
