Over $1 billion USD worth of Bitcoin has been transacted in the past 24 hours. The information comes from multiple sources such as Bitcoin Watch and BlockChain.info. These records indicate in a period of a day, about 2,069,000 BTC have been passed around. Multiply that by the present exchange rate, and it's a whole lot of money. Newly-launched BitcoinWallet.com is reporting some interesting figures when it comes to statistics collected in the first sixty days of operation.
