Diginomics Announces Ethereum Programming Course

Diginomics has announced the release of the Ethereum Programming Course for digital money professionals and smart contract developers.

The course is designed to allow students to gain a deep understanding of the Ethereum network and how to program smart contracts in the shortest amount of time possible.

The Ethereum Programming Course allows students to enroll in the course over the span of a 6 week period as new lessons are made available from course instructors.

The primary method of instruction is video presentations, written explanations, and coding tutorials. The course also features timed examinations at regular intervals designed to test students' understanding of core concepts.

Travis Patron, the leading course instructor and noted author of The Bitcoin Revolution: An Internet of Money, had this to say on the release of the Ethereum Programming Course:

"The Ethereum Programming Course is tailored specifically to bitcoin industry professionals who wish to be at the forefront of the transformative innovation of smart contracts.

Although Ethereum technology is currently still in the early stages, I’m confident that smart contracting systems are the next frontier of internet-enabled commerce. We’re very excited to offer the first fully-featured course on this technology.”

The course topics include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Introduction To Smart Contracts.
- The Blockchain & Proof-of-Stake.

Vyper, Solidity and Scrypto: How the smart contract languages compare

A look at three different programming languages for blockchain networks and how they compare. The Ethereum network brought smart contracts into the blockchain space, making concepts like decentralized finance (DeFi) possible. Smart contracts can automatically execute processes once certain conditions have been met. Along with this new technology, a new coding language was developed called Solidity. As the blockchain industry continues to grow and new blockchain networks emerge, additional programming languages are being brought into the space, notably Vyper and Scrypto.Programming....

How to create and launch a cryptocurrency token with TokenMint?

To create a token using TokenMint, no programming knowledge is necessary. The TokenMint platform's alpha version provides the fundamentals for creating a fungible token. Developing a cryptocurrency token has been a complex task, as it requires advanced blockchain programming skills. Until recently, only blockchain developers with strong coding skills could create a mechanism to mint digital coins. This scenario, however, led to the development of platforms where anyone, not knowing even an iota of programming, could launch their cryptocurrencies. The flagbearer of this change has been....

Counterparty Adds Ethereum Smart Contract Features

While smart contracts have always been possible on Counterparty, they lacked the flexibility and ease of customization found in the Ethereum project. That extra functionality, previously only found in Ethereum, was often attributed by observers of only being....
