Young's Fine Art Cooperates with Bidpoc Project to make Art Transaction Intelligible

Young’s Fine Art has announced a partnership with Shanghai Jiulian Technology Ltd, getting involved in the development process of Bidpoc Project. The aim of the Bidpoc project is to provide art transaction with a stable and reliable data platform by linking complete ecological chain information with Blockchain technology together.

Young’s Fine Art, an England-based Art company established in 2012, specialized in providing art transaction service. It aims to bridge the gap between Chinese collectors and the global Chinese art market. Its goal is to deliver valuable global market information in order to locate art, provide an efficient business transaction and ship the items in a risk-free environment. Its media platform, “Evergreen Art News”, is the one committed to providing Chinese antique transaction information and data analytics services.

In this cooperation, Young’s Fine Art will be one of the shareholders of Shanghai Jiulian Technology Ltd. For Bidpoc, it will be able to get access to all the art transaction data from more than 30 auction houses and art dealers who are long-term partners with YFA.

The Bidpoc project will record all the transaction information and data on a self-developed permissioned ledger. Such permissioned ledger will strictly control the access authority of the system that only specific authorized users can edit and amend the records, which helps secure the authenticity as well as the decentralized consensus.

Art and antiques have always been very complex things, however, due to its scarcity as well as its cultural and historical value, the process of art transaction seem to be very hidden and mysterious. Therefore Bidpoc project is intended to integrate the transaction data and to provide detailed data query support for buyers and sellers in the auction transaction process.

With the aim of ensuring the authenticity of database information, those art works which have already been recorded in the database will have physical identification marks by Bidpoc’s unique and mature encryption and validation technology.
