CoinFinance – The Ultimate Crypto Portfolio Tracker
CoinFinance allows users to effortlessly manage their cryptocurrencies portfolio anywhere, and on the go. Not only does the website look pleasing to the eye and has a high level of professionalism, it has many unique features to allow you to stay on track with your virtual investments. Whether it is time to buy, hold, or sell, CoinFinance is a very useful tool to use.
As soon as you enter the website, a Bitcoin price chart is prominently displayed in the middle, showing four different Bitcoin exchanges: CoinBase, Mt. Gox, BTC-e, and Bitstamp. The daily change percentage is also displayed beside each price. On the right hand side is the daily ‘Winners’ and ‘Losers’ chart, dominated by altcoins. Today, Paycoin increased 79% in value, while GlobalCoin lost 51% in value. The world of altcoins is very saturated and risky, with huge volatile market movements mainly in part to ‘pumps and dumps’ as well as their relatively lower market volumes. Coin market caps are ranked accordingly on the left side, with the top four most popular daily currencies below. An interesting feature is the ‘Top Stories’ section, which provides real-time news reel of the latest events in the Bitcoin world.
Creating a portfolio is easy. No personal information is needed, not even an email or password. At the click of a button, a login hash is given to you. Simply copy the hash down, paste it into the login box, and you’re off! To add coins to your portfolio, you can either type the name of the coin, or the symbol. For example, you could either type ‘Bitcoin’, or ‘BTC’. You then enter the quantity of the selected coin that you have, and then it is added to your portfolio. You can fake an amount if you’d like, and see how well your imaginary altcoin investment fares. The bar at the top shows your live ‘Coin Wealth’ and displays the value of your crypto portfolio in Bitcoins, the U.S Dollar, and Euros. The latest BTC/USD and LTC/USD prices are also displayed.
CoinFinance could also be referred to as the cryptocurrency version of Google Finance. You can share your portfolio to others by Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, or via a unique link. To track your portfolio’s growth/decline on the provided ‘Wealth Chart’, you must take click the ‘Snap It’ button for it to record the current data to the chart. This allows you to see the performance of your portfolio while you were away from the computer, for instance.
Although CoinFinance cannot list every single altcoin out there because there simply is way too much, CoinFinance does support over 125 different altcoins which can be added to your cryptocoin portfolio. However, like all similar websites that offer full anonymity, if you forget your login hash then you would also lose access to your portfolio. This is assuming you also lost the link and did not share it via social media.
Overall, CoinFinance is a great source to fulfill your short and long-term investing needs. You are able to track and manage how your crypto-currency portfolio is doing, see the latest gainer and losers in terms of value changes, track your portfolio value in Bitcoin, USD, and Euros.
You can see the latest Bitcoin prices on four different exchanges, read the latest top Bitcoin stories, gaze at the different market caps, as well as many others. CoinFinance has a lot of potential to become a great resource for all members of the cryptocurrency community.
