PrepaidBitco.in Offers Prepaid Bitcoin™ Cards

PrepaidBitco.in Offers Prepaid Bitcoin™ Cards

PrepaidBitco.in is a Bitcoin service that offers Prepaid Bitcoin™ cards to the masses.  The cards that PrepaidBitco.in has for sale on its website are similar in function to Xbox Live, or iTunes, or League of Legends Riot Points prepaid cards which are sold at locations all over the world.  The Prepaid Bitcoin card, once purchased, needs to be activated on the website at which point the funds will be made available to the customer.  The exchange rate is not locked in at the time of purchase; instead, the exchange rate is guaranteed at the time you activate your card.  In this way, Prepaid Bitcoin™ cards maintain their exact value until you need to activate and spend them.  PrepaidBitco.in recommends that users secure the Prepaid Bitcoin card at all times after purchase and to only reveal the keys printed on the back when activating the card.  After activation, PrepaidBitco.in also recommends that you transfer your bitcoins to the secure platform of your choice.

PrepaidBitco.in doesn’t charge a percentage fee; instead, there is a flat fee of $5 to cover shipping and handling.  One great feature of PrepaidBitco.in is that they accept Paypal.  For this reason, they only sell physical cards and are able to survive Paypal’s arduous chargeback maze.  For individuals interested in buying $100 worth of Bitcoin using their Paypal accounts, the effective “fee” that PrepaidBitco.in charges is a competitive 5%.  Recently, PrepaidBitco.in’s Josh added the ability to pay in Bitcoin, bringing the service full circle.

Interested brick and mortar businesses can also contact PrepaidBitco.in directly for discounts on bulk and/or custom orders of Prepaid Bitcoin cards.  PrepaidBitco.in has additional custom designs for their Bitcoin cards.  They are even able to add your company’s logo to the card to drive your own branding campaign.  It won’t be long before Bitcoin cards in one form or another start becoming a prevalent thing.  There are Bitcoin companies trying to use Bitcoin cards to convert Bitcoin into fiat on demand; other companies, such as PrepaidBitco.in, are facilitating transfers of wealth in the other direction.  Check out their video!

Who Should You Give Prepaid Bitcoin Cards To?

For several years now, Bitcoiners around the world have resorted to paper wallets as a means to physically trade Bitcoin.  In reality, what they are trading is access to the public and private keys associated with the address that the bitcoins are more recently associated with.  Paper wallets need to be created on secure hardware using secure software otherwise their security comes into question.  The largest issue with paper wallets is that they lack durability, especially those printed on thermal paper.  If you were trying to give bitcoins in physical form to one of your friends, you would not want to give them a paper wallet.  Paper wallets look a lot like receipts and often suffer the same discarded fate.  Prepaid Bitcoin cards are a much better way to give designated amounts of money, in Bitcoin.  Any situation where you would previously have used a Cassacius coin or a paper wallet in a physical exchange, you can instead use a Prepaid Bitcoin card.  Of course, the one exception to this rule is cold storage.  Prepaid Bitcoin cards were not designed for cold storage.  PrepaidBitco.in’s Prepaid Bitcoin cards are not just an easy way for new Bitcoiners to buy bitcoins.  They can also be used as physical gifts of Bitcoin to friends and relatives as they are more durable than a paper wallet and less expensive than a precious metal coin.  Bitcoin needs to be spread across the world in every way shape and form; PrepaidBitco.in understands this mission and works to provide the best service in its niche.
