ServInt Begins Accepting Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin as Payment for Its Managed Cloud Hosting Services

ServInt, an innovative provider of managed cloud hosting for businesses worldwide, today announced it has begun accepting Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin as payment for its hosting services.

“As always, our top priority is making our customers’ lives as easy as possible, and a growing number have told us they prefer to transact their online business using web-based alternative currencies,” said ServInt COO Christian Dawson.

“They asked for greater choice and convenience, and we responded. It’s as simple as that.”

ServInt has selected GoCoin as the payment processor for Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin transactions. GoCoin is the first payment platform to incorporate the growing alternative currency market, allowing customers to pay their bill online with the web-based wallet of their choice. On the ServInt side of the transaction, GoCoin lets ServInt instantaneously exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin payments for U.S. dollars at the moment of the transaction.

GoCoin Co-Founder and CEO Steve Beauregard said,

“Over the past two decades, ServInt has built a reputation as an innovative, yet prudent, cloud hosting provider. We are eager to work together to provide ServInt customers with a digital currency payment option that aligns perfectly with the coin communities’ core values.”

Dawson concluded,

“We have taken a cautious, thoughtful approach to incorporation of alternative currencies into our payment stream. With GoCoin, all risks related to fraud and volatility are eliminated. That made them the obvious choice for us.”

ServInt customers still have the option to make any payment online via credit card, debit card, PayPal or bank account, and also can remit payment by check.
