Charlotte Mayor to Welcome Cryptolina Bitcoin Expo to Queen City
The Second Annual Cryptolina Bitcoin Expo announced that the Honorable Daniel G. Clodfelter, Mayor of Charlotte, will provide welcoming remarks to the attendees on the morning of Saturday August 15 at the Historic McGlohon Theater at Spirit Square in Uptown Charlotte.
The two-day conference is a sequel to last summer's inaugural expo in Raleigh that attracted over 350 digital currency developers, investors and regulators from across the United States and Europe. Among them, former United States Mint Director Edmund C. Moy and Silicon Valley venture capitalist Adam Draper.
Current issues and events pertaining to Bitcoin, blockchain technology, startups, venture capital investment and much more will be discussed and debated. A major panel discussion focusing on the national and state-level regulatory debate is set for Saturday afternoon, with industry experts and several financial professionals confirmed as panelists. Additionally, North Carolina’s First ‘Virtual Currency Compliance Workshop’ will be held on Friday August 14th from 9:00am – 5:00pm at the conference.
The Cryptolina (rhymes with Carolina) Bitcoin Expo has recently won several local and national sponsorships from organizations and businesses including Packard Place, Uber, The Chamber of Digital Commerce, Dunvegan Space Systems, C.G. Emanuel Group and Tally Capital.
